Solànas is a small tourist town of ancient history, located on the edge of Sardinia’s southern eastern coast. Currently municipality of Sinnai, its territory extends along the stream of Solànas river, from the Sette Fratelli’s range to the beach of the same name. The peculiarity of Solànas is today, through the eyes of a tourist, a hiker and a traveller, a discretion of antique flavour. Its gems of archaeological nature, tourism, landscape and food and wine remain like asleep between the granite and the Mediterranean shrub lands, waiting to be discovered. The human presence itself is discreet and infrequent, and gives you the impression of being the first one to discover a cove, a small, excellent restaurant or a forgotten prehistoric nuraghe. It’s the ideal place to relax, away from the noise of big tourist’s flows, although the important tourist centre of Villasimius is only 12 km away. Cagliari with its port is 38 Km away., Elmas airport 52 Km., And the major route SS.125 var., an ancient Roman road recently renovated and extended, allows you to reach easily the Sarrabus and the east coast, up to the harbour of Arbatax (108 Km.), and eventually to the north of Sardinia and Olbia (265 Km.).
The Eranu B&B is a small family-run bed and breakfast located in the valley of Santa Barbara, 3 kilometres away from Solanas beach. Hospitable, but with the typical discretion of the Sardinians, offers to its guests the kind of hospitality that combines the respect for the place’s peculiarity – the peacefulness, the varied flavours of a buffet breakfast that ranges from fresh fruits to homemade bread topped with homemade jams – with the small comforts of modernity, such as an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, disabled access, and Free Wi-Fi
